Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) as saying : Offer some of your prayers in your houses, and do not make them graves (of of the people who are punished for their wrong doings).

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم لوگ اپنی بعض نمازیں اپنے گھروں میں پڑھا کرو اور انہیں قبرستان نہ بناؤ ۔
Abdul-Allah bin Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kahte hain ke Rasool-Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Tum log apni baaz namazain apne gharon mein padha karo aur unhein qabristan na banau.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: اجْعَلُوا فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا قُبُورًا .
