Sunan Abi Dawud 4756

Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that he heard the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) say, there has been no Prophet after Nooh (عليه السالم) who has not warned his people about the antichrist ( ِالدَّجَّال), and I warn you of him. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) described him to us, saying, perhaps some who have seen me and heard my words will live till his time. The people asked, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) what will be the condition of our hearts on that day? Like what we are today? He replied, or better.

ابوعبیدہ بن جراح رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: نوح کے بعد کوئی ایسا نبی نہیں ہوا جس نے اپنی قوم کو دجال سے نہ ڈرایا ہو اور میں بھی تمہیں اس سے ڈراتا ہوں پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمارے سامنے اس کی صفت بیان کی اور فرمایا: شاید اسے وہ شخص پائے جس نے مجھے دیکھا اور میری بات سنی لوگوں نے عرض کیا: اس دن ہمارے دل کیسے ہوں گے؟ کیا اسی طرح جیسے آج ہیں؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اس سے بھی بہتر ( کیونکہ فتنہ و فساد کے باوجود ایمان پر قائم رہنا زیادہ مشکل ہے ) ۔

Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main ne Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko farmate hue suna: Noh ke baad koi aisa Nabi nahin hua jis ne apni qoum ko Dajjal se na daraya ho aur main bhi tumhein is se darata hun phir Rasul-ullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamare samne is ki sifat bayan ki aur farmaya: Shayad isse woh shakhs paye jis ne mujhe dekha aur meri baat suni Logon ne arz kiya: Is din hamare dil kaise honge? Kya isi tarah jaise aaj hain? Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Is se bhi behtar ( kyunke fitnah wa fasad ke ba-wujud iman per qaim rahana zyada mushkil hai ) .

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أخبرنا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُرَاقَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ نَبِيٌّ بَعْدَ نُوحٍ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أَنْذَرَ الدَّجَّالَ قَوْمَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنِّي أُنْذِرُكُمُوهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَوَصَفَهُ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَعَلَّهُ سَيُدْرِكُهُ مَنْ قَدْ رَآنِي وَسَمِعَ كَلَامِي،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَيْفَ قُلُوبُنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ أَمِثْلُهَا الْيَوْمَ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَوْ خَيْرٌ .

Sunan Abi Dawud 4757

Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stood among the people and praised Allah in a way which is worthy of Him, and mentioned the Antichrist ( ِالدَّجَّال), saying, I warn you of him, and there has been no prophet who has not warned his people about him, and Nooh (عليه السالم) also warned his people about him. But I tell you about him a word which no Prophet had told his people, you should know that he will be blind in one eye, and Allah is not blind is one eye.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ لوگوں میں کھڑے ہوئے، اللہ کی لائق شان حمد و ثنا بیان فرمائی، پھر دجال کا ذکر کیا اور فرمایا: میں تمہیں اس سے ڈراتا ہوں، کوئی نبی ایسا نہیں گزرا جس نے اپنی قوم کو اس سے ڈرایا نہ ہو، نوح ( علیہ السلام ) نے بھی اپنی قوم کو اس سے ڈرایا تھا، لیکن میں تمہیں اس کے بارے میں ایسی بات بتا رہا ہوں جو کسی نبی نے اپنی قوم کو نہیں بتائی: وہ کانا ہو گا اور اللہ کانا نہیں ہے ۔

Abdul-allah bin Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ke Nabi-e-Akram sallaAllahu alaihi wasallam logon mein khade hue, Allah ki laiq shan hamd o sana bayan farma'i, phir Dajjal ka zikr kiya aur farmaya: main tumhein is se darata hun, koi Nabi aisa nahin guzra jisne apni qoum ko is se daraya nahin ho, Nooh ( alaihi salaam ) ne bhi apni qoum ko is se daraya tha, lekin main tumhein is ke bare mein aisi baat bata raha hun jo kisi Nabi ne apni qoum ko nahin batayi: wo kana hoga aur Allah kana nahin hai.

حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَالِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي النَّاسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَثْنَى عَلَى اللَّهِ بِمَا هُوَ أَهْلُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَذَكَرَ الدَّجَّالَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي لَأُنْذِرُكُمُوهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا قَدْ أَنْذَرَهُ قَوْمَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَقَدْ أَنْذَرَهُ نُوحٌ قَوْمَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِنِّي سَأَقُولُ لَكُمْ فِيهِ قَوْلًا لَمْ يَقُلْهُ نَبِيٌّ لِقَوْمِهِ:‏‏‏‏ تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ أَعْوَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِأَعْوَرَ .
