Sunan Abi Dawud 2470
Ummul Momineen Safiyyah (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that when the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was observing I'tikaf (in the mosque), I would come to him to visit him. I had a talk with him and then stood up. I then returned and he (the Prophet ﷺ) also stood up to accompany me (to my house). Her dwelling place was in the house of Usamah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه). Two men from the Ansar (helpers) passed (by him at that time). When they saw the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), they walked quickly. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, Be, at ease, she is Ummul Momineen Safiyyah bint Huyayy (رضي الله تعالى عنها). They said, Be glory to Allah, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! He said: Satan runs in man like blood. I feared he might inspire something in your mind, or he said, evil (the narrator doubted).

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ مسجد کے اندر اعتکاف کی حالت میں ہوتے تو حجرے کے کسی جھروکے سے اپنا سر میری طرف کر دیتے میں آپ ﷺ کا سر دھو دیتی، کنگھی کر دیتی، اور میں حیض سے ہوتی تھی۔
Umme-ul-Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kehti hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Masjid ke andar Etekaf ki halat mein hote to Hajre ke kisi Jharoke se apna sar meri taraf kar dete main Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka sar dho deti, kanghi kar deti, aur main Haiz se hoti thi.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَمُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَكُونُ مُعْتَكِفًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَيُنَاوِلُنِي رَأْسَهُ مِنْ خَلَلِ الْحُجْرَةِ فَأَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ . وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: فَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ.
