Sunan Abi Dawud 4071
Hurayth ibn al-Abajj as-Sulayhi narrated that a a woman of Banu Asad said, one day she was with Ummul Momineen Zaynab (رضي الله تعالى عنها), the wife of the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), and we were dyeing her clothes with red ochre. In the meantime, the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came in. When he saw the red ochre, he returned. When Ummul Momineen Zaynab (رضي الله تعالى عنها) saw this, she realized that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) disapproved of what she was doing. She then took and washed her clothes and concealed all redness. A little later, the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) returned and peeped, and when he did not see anything, he entered.

حریث بن ابح سلیحی کہتے ہیں کہ بنی اسد کی ایک عورت کہتی ہے: میں ایک دن ام المؤمنین زینب رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس تھی اور ہم آپ کے کپڑے گیروے میں رنگ رہے تھے کہ اسی دوران رسول اللہ ﷺ تشریف لے آئے، جب آپ کی نظر گیروے رنگ پر پڑی تو واپس لوٹ گئے، جب زینب رضی اللہ عنہا نے یہ دیکھا تو وہ سمجھ گئیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یہ ناگوار لگا ہے، چنانچہ انہوں نے ان کپڑوں کو دھو دیا اور ساری سرخی چھپا دی پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ واپس تشریف لائے اور دیکھا جب کوئی چیز نظر نہیں آئی تو اندر تشریف لے گئے۔
Harith bin Abhu Sulaihi kehte hain ke Bani Asad ki aik aurat kehti hai: main ek din Ummul Momineen Zainab ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke pas thi aur hum aap ke kapde giroo mein rang rahe the ke isi doran Rasool Allah SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM tashreef le aaye, jab aap ki nazar giroo rang par padi to wapis loot gaye, jab Zainab ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne yeh dekha to woh samjh gain ke Rasool Allah SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM ko yeh nagwar laga hai, chananche unhon ne in kapron ko dho diya aur sari surkhi chhipa di phir Rasool Allah SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM wapis tashreef laye aur dekha jab koi cheez nazar nahin aai to andar tashreef le gaye.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْفٍ الطَّائِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قَال َ ابْنُ عَوْفٍ الطَّائِي ّ: وَقَرَأْتُ فِي أَصْلِإِسْمَاعِيل، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ حُرَيْثِ بْنِ الْأَبَحِّ السَّلِيحِيِّ: أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ، قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ يَوْمًا عِنْدَ زَيْنَبَ امْرَأَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ نَصْبُغُ ثِيَابًا لَهَا بِمَغْرَةٍ، فَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ كَذَلِكَ إِذْ طَلَعَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا رَأَى الْمَغْرَةَ رَجَعَ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْ ذَلِكَ زَيْنَبُ عَلِمَتْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ كَرِهَ مَا فَعَلَتْ فَأَخَذَتْ، فَغَسَلَتْ ثِيَابَهَا وَوَارَتْ كُلَّ حُمْرَةٍ ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَعَ فَاطَّلَعَ فَلَمَّا لَمْ يَرَ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ .
