Sunan Abi Dawud 4254
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) narrated that the Prophet ( صلى للاعليه و آله وسلم) said, the mill of Islam will go round till the year thirty-five, or thirty-six, or thirty-seven; then if they perish, they will have followed the path of those who perished before them, but if their religion is maintained, it will be maintained for seventy years. I asked, does it mean seventy years which remain or seventy years which are gone by? He replied, it means (seventy years) that are gone by. Imam Abu Dawood said, those who recorded Khirash, the name of a narrator, are wrong. (The correct name is Hirash).

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: اسلام کی چکی پینتیس یا چھتیس یا سینتیس سال تک گردش میں رہے گی، پھر اگر وہ ہلاک ہوئے تو ان کی راہ وہی ہو گی جو ان لوگوں کی راہ رہی جو ہلاک ہوئے اور اگر ان کا دین قائم رہا تو ستر سال تک قائم رہے گا میں نے عرض کیا: کیا اس زمانہ سے جو باقی ہے یا اس سے جو گزر گیا؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اس زمانہ سے جو گزر گیا ۔
Abdul-allah bin Mas'ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Islam ki chakki pentis ya chhattis ya saintis sal tak gardish mein rahe gi, phir agar woh halak hue to un ki rah wahi ho gi jo un logoon ki rah rahi jo halak hue aur agar un ka deen qa'im raha to sattar sal tak qa'im rahe ga mein ne arz kiya: kya is zamana se jo baqi hai ya is se jo guzra gaya? Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: is zamana se jo guzra gaya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَنْبَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنِالْبَرَاءِ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: تَدُورُ رَحَى الْإِسْلَامِ لِخَمْسٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ أَوْ سِتٍّ وَثَلَاثِينَ أَوْ سَبْعٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ فَإِنْ يَهْلَكُوا فَسَبِيلُ مَنْ هَلَكَ وَإِنْ يَقُمْ لَهُمْ دِينُهُمْ يَقُمْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: أَمِمَّا بَقِيَ أَوْ مِمَّا مَضَى، قَالَ: مِمَّا مَضَى ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: مَنْ قَالَ خِرَاشٍ فَقَدْ أَخْطَأَ.
