Sunan Abi Dawud 941
Sahl bin Sa’d (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that fighting took place among the tribe of Banu Amr bin Awf. The (news) reached the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and he came to them for their reconciliation after the noon prayer. He said to Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه), if the time of the afternoon prayer comes, and I do not return to you, then ask Abu Bakr ( رضئهللا تعالی عنہ) to lead the people in prayer. When the time of the afternoon prayer came, Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) called the Adhan and pronounced the Iqama and asked Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) (to lead the prayer). He stepped forward. The narrator reported this tradition to the same effect. In the end he (the Prophet ﷺ) said; if anything happens to you during the prayer, the men should say - سبحان هللا [Glory be to Allah] and the women should clap.

سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ قبیلہ بنی عمرو بن عوف کی آپس میں لڑائی ہوئی، نبی اکرم ﷺ کو اس کی خبر پہنچی، تو آپ ظہر کے بعد مصالحت کرانے کی غرض سے ان کے پاس آئے اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہہ آئے کہ اگر عصر کا وقت آ جائے اور میں واپس نہ آ سکوں تو تم ابوبکر سے کہنا کہ وہ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھا دیں، چنانچہ جب عصر کا وقت ہوا تو بلال نے اذان دی پھر تکبیر کہی اور ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کو نماز پڑھانے کے لیے کہا تو آپ آگے بڑھ گئے، اس کے اخیر میں ہے: آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: جب تمہیں نماز میں کوئی حادثہ پیش آ جائے تو مرد سبحان الله کہیں اور عورتیں دستک دیں ۔
sahl bin saad (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke qabila bani amro bin auf ki aapas mein larai hui nabi akram salallahu alaihi wasallam ko is ki khabar pahunchi to aap zuhr ke baad musalhat karane ki gharaz se un ke pas aaye aur bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se kah aaye ke agar asr ka waqt aa jaaye aur main wapas na aa sakun to tum abubakr se kahna ke woh logon ko namaz padha dein chananchh jab asr ka waqt hua to bilal ne azan di phir takbir kahi aur abubakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko namaz padhane ke liye kaha to aap aage badh gaye is ke akhir mein hai aap salallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya jab tumhen namaz mein koi hadsa pesh aa jaaye to mard subhanallah kahein aur aurtein dastak dein
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ قِتَالٌ بَيْنَ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَتَاهُمْ لِيُصْلِحَ بَيْنَهُمْ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ، فَقَالَ لِبِلَالٍ: إِنْ حَضَرَتْ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ وَلَمْ آتِكَ، فَمُرْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَلْيُصَلِّ بِالنَّاسِ، فَلَمَّا حَضَرَتِ الْعَصْرُ أَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ، ثُمَّ أَقَامَ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَتَقَدَّمَ، قَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ: إِذَا نَابَكُمْ شَيْءٌ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلْيُسَبِّحْ الرِّجَالُ، وَلْيُصَفِّحْ النِّسَاءُ .
