It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said regarding a slave girl: "If she commits fornication, then flog her. If she does it again, then flog her." He (the Holy Prophet) said for the third or fourth time: "Then sell her, even if you have to sell her for a rope."

حضرت عبداللہ بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے باندی کے متعلق فرمایا ہے کہ اگر وہ بدکاری کرے تو اسے کوڑے مارو پھر دوبارہ کرے تو کوڑے مارو، تیسری مرتبہ یا چوتھی مرتبہ فرمایا کہ پھر اسے بیچ دو خواہ ایک رسی کے عوض ہی بیچنا پڑے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bandi ke mutalliq farmaya hai ki agar wo badkari kare to use kore maro phir dobara kare to kore maro teesri martaba ya chauthi martaba farmaya ki phir use bech do chahe ek rassi ke badle hi bechna pade.
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنَّ شَبْلَ بْنَ حَامِدٍ الْمُزَنِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْأَوْسِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلْوَلِيدَةِ: " إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ، فَبِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ" وَالضَّفِيرُ الْحَبْلُ، فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ.
