It is narrated by Abdur Rahman bin Azhar (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of Hunayn, I saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) making his way through the people and asking for the location of Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with him). In a short while, some people brought a man in a state of intoxication to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered his companions to hit the intoxicated man with whatever they had in their hands.

حضرت عبدالرحمن بن ازہر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے غزوہ حنین کے دن نبی کریم ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ آپ ﷺ لوگوں کے درمیان سے راستہ بنا کر گذرتے جارہے ہیں اور حضرت خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ کے ٹھکانے کا پتہ پوچھتے جارہے ہیں تھوڑی دیر میں ایک آدمی کو نشے کی حالت میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس لوگ لے آئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنے ساتھ آنے والوں کو حکم دیا کہ ان کے ہاتھ میں جو کچھ ہے وہ اسی سے اس شخص کو ماریں۔

Hazrat Abdul Rahman bin Azhar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that on the day of the Battle of Hunayn, I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) making his way through the people, and inquiring about the whereabouts of Hazrat Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with him). After a while, a man in an intoxicated state was brought to the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered those with him to strike the man with whatever they had in their hands. Some hit him with sticks, some with stones, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) threw dust on him.

Abdur Rahman bin Azhar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that during the Battle of Hunayn, Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) was injured. He was riding the Prophet's horse. After the defeat of the disbelievers, I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) walking among the Muslims who were returning from the battle. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asking, "Who will tell me the location of Khalid bin Walid's tent?" I was a young boy at the time, and I ran ahead of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that I would show him the way to Khalid bin Walid's tent. So, we reached his tent. Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) was sitting there leaning on the back of his saddle. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came and looked at his wound, then he applied his saliva on it.

حضرت عبدالرحمن بن ازہر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ غزوہ حنین کے موقع پر حضرت خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ زخمی ہوگئے تھے وہ نبی کریم کے گھوڑے پر سوار تھے کفار کی شکست کے بعد میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ آپ ﷺ مسلمانوں کے درمیان " جو کہ جنگ سے واپس آرہے تھے چلتے جارہے ہیں اور فرماتے جارہے ہیں کہ خالد بن ولید کے خیمے کا پتہ کون بتائے گا؟ میں اس وقت نابالغ لڑکا تھا میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے آگے آگے یہ کہتے ہوئے دوڑنے لگا کہ خالد بن ولید کے خیمے کا پتہ بتائے گا؟ یہاں تک کہ ہم ان کے خیمے پر جا پہنچے وہاں حضرت خالد رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے کجاوے کے پچھلے حصے سے ٹیک لگائے بیٹھے تھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے آکر ان کا زخم دیکھا پھر اس پر اپنا لعاب دہن لگادیا۔
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Azhar Radi Allaho Anhu kehte hain ki Ghazwa Hunain ke mauqe par Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed Radi Allaho Anhu Zakhmi hogaye the wo Nabi Kareem ke ghore par sawar the kuffar ki shikast ke baad mein ne Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ko dekha ki Aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam Musalmanon ke darmiyan jo ki jang se wapas aa rahe the chalte ja rahe hain aur farmate ja rahe hain ki Khalid bin Waleed ke khaime ka pata kaun bataega? mein us waqt na baaligh ladka tha mein Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke aage aage ye kehte hue daudrne laga ki Khalid bin Waleed ke khaime ka pata bataega? yahan tak ki hum unke khaime par ja pahunche wahan Hazrat Khalid Radi Allaho Anhu apne kajave ke pichhle hisse se tek lagaye baithe the Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne aakar unka zakhm dekha phir us par apna laab dahen laga diya.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdur Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) that I was present when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was putting dust in the mouth of a wine drinker.
