It is narrated on the authority of Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to lead us in prayer, he would recite Surah Fatiha and two other Surahs in the first two rak'ahs of Zuhr and Asr, and sometimes he would recite a verse aloud and let us hear it. He would make the first rak'ah of Zuhr comparatively longer and the second one shorter. He would do the same in the Fajr prayer.

حضرت ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب ہمیں نماز پڑھاتے تھے تو ظہر اور عصر کی پہلی دو رکعتوں میں سورت فاتحہ اور کوئی سی دو سورتیں پڑھ لیتے تھے اور کبھی کبھی کوئی آیت اونچی آواز سے پڑھ کر ہمیں سنا دیتے تھے اور ظہر کی پہلی رکعت نسبتاً لمبی پڑھاتے تھے اور دوسری رکعت مختصر کرتے تھے فجر کی نماز میں بھی اسی طرح کرتے تھے۔

Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you drinks, let him not breathe in the vessel, and when he enters the lavatory, let him not perform Istinja' with his right hand, and when he urinates, let him not touch his private parts with his right hand."

حضرت ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص کچھ پیئے تو برتن میں سانس نہ لے جب بیت الخلاء میں داخل ہو تو دائیں ہاتھ سے اسنتجاء نہ کرے اور جب پیشاب کرے تو دائیں ہاتھ سے شرمگاہ کو نہ چھوئے۔
Hazrat Abuqataada Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jab tum mein se koi shakhs kuch piye to bartan mein saans na le jab baitulkhala mein dakhil ho to daayen haath se istinja na kare aur jab peshab kare to daayen haath se sharamgah ko na chhuye.
It is narrated in a mursal narration from Abdullah bin Abi Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you eats, let him not eat with his left hand, and when he drinks, let him not drink with his left hand, and when he takes hold of something, let him not take hold of it with his left hand, and when he gives something, let him not give it with his left hand."
عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ رحمہ اللہ سے مرسلاً مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص کھانا کھائے تو وہ بائیں ہاتھ سے نہ کھائے جب پیئے تو بائیں ہاتھ سے نہ پیئے جب کوئی چیز پکڑے تو بائیں ہاتھ سے نہ پکڑے اور جب کوئی چیز دے توبائیں ہاتھ سے نہ دے۔
