The Hadith of Amr ibn Hurayth (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18733

It is narrated on the authority of Amr ibn Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting Surah Ad-Duha in the Fajr prayer, in which there is also the verse "By the night as it envelops."

حضرت عمروبن حریث رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو فجر کی نماز میں سورت اذا الشمس کو رت " پڑھتے ہوئے سنا جس میں " واللیل اذاعسعس " بھی ہے۔

Hazrat Amr bin Haris (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Fajr ki namaz mein Surah Idha Ash-Shams ko rat " padhte hue suna jis mein " Wallayli iza as'asa " bhi hai.

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، وَالْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ سَرِيعٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ:" سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ: إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ، وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ" .

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18734

It is narrated on the authority of Amr bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivered a sermon while wearing a black turban.

حضرت عمرو بن حریث رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے لوگوں کے سامنے سیاہ رنگ کا عمامہ باندھ کر خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا۔

Hazrat Amr bin Haris (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne logon ke samne siyah rang ka amama bandh kar khutba irshad farmaya.

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسَاوِرٌ الْوَرَّاقُ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ، وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ" .

It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Amr bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed wearing shoes.

حضرت عمرو بن حریث رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے جوتیاں پہن کر نماز پڑھی۔

Hazrat Amr bin Harith Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne jootian pehen kar namaz parhi.

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ ، عَمَّنْ ، سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ يَقُولُ: " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي نَعْلَيْه" .

It is narrated on the authority of Amr bin Haritha (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered prayer while wearing tied sandals.

حضرت عمروبن حریث رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے گانٹھی ہوئی جوتیاں پہن کر نماز پڑھی۔

Hazrat Amr bin Haris Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne ganthi hui jootian pehen kar namaz parha.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ ، سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ:" رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْنِ مَخْصُوفَيْنِ .

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18737

Narrated 'Amr bin Harith (RA): I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) reciting in the Fajr prayer "When the sun is folded up" (Surat At-Takwir) in which is also (the Ayah) "By the night as it envelops."

حضرت عمرو بن حریث رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو فجر کی نماز میں سورت اذا الشمس کورت " پڑھتے ہوئے سنا جس میں " واللیل اذاعسعس " بھی ہے۔

Hazrat Amr bin Haris razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko fajar ki namaz mein Surah Idha shamso kuroort parhte huye suna jis mein wal lail iza as'as bhi hai.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقْرَأُ: لَا أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ" .

It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Amr bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting Surah "When the sun is folded up" in the Fajr prayer, in which there is also "By the night when it covers."

حضرت عمرو بن حریث رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو فجر کی نماز میں سورت اذا الشمس کورت " پڑھتے ہوئے سنا جس میں " واللیل اذا عسعس " بھی ہے۔

Hazrat Amr bin Haris RA se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Kareem SAW ko Fajar ki namaz mein Surah "Idha ash-shamsu kuwirat" padhte huye suna jis mein "Wallayli idha as'asa" bhi hai.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ سَرِيعٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ:" سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ فِي الْفَجْرِ: وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ" .
