It is narrated by Maseerah that once I submitted in the court of Prophethood, “O Messenger of Allah, since when have you been a Prophet?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Since the time of Adam, while he was still between spirit and body.”

حضرت میسرہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے بارگاہ نبوت میں عرض کیا یارسول اللہ آپ کب سے نبی ﷺ ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جبکہ حضرت آدم ابھی روح اور جسم کے درمیان میں ہی تھے۔
Hazrat Misrah se marvi hai keh aik martaba maine bargah e nabuvvat main arz kiya ya Rasul Allah aap kab se nabi hain? Nabi ne farmaya jab keh Hazrat Adam abhi rooh aur jism ke darmiyaan mein hi thay.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ الْفَجْرِ ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَتَى كُتِبْتَ نَبِيًّا؟ قَالَ: " وآدَمُ بَيْنَ الرُّوحِ وَالْجَسَدِ" .
