Narrated by Khalid bin Arfatha (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me, “O Khalid! After me, there will be incidents, trials and tribulations. If you have the strength within yourself to become among those servants of Allah who are killed but do not kill, then do so.”

حضرت خالد بن عرفطہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے مجھ سے فرمایا اے خالد! میرے بعد حادثات، فتنے اور اختلافات رونما ہوں گے اگر تمہارے اندر اتنی طاقت ہو کہ تم اللہ کے وہ بندے بن جاؤ جو مقتول ہو قاتل نہ ہو تو ایسا ہی کرنا۔
Hazrat Khalid bin Arfatha RA se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem SAW ne mujh se farmaya aye Khalid! mere baad hadisat, fitne aur ikhtilafath ronuma honge agar tumhare andar itni taqat ho ke tum Allah ke wo bande ban jao jo maqtool ho qatil na ho to aisa hi karna.
Abdullah bin Yasar, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Once I was sitting with Sulaiman bin Sard and Khalid bin Urfata, may Allah be pleased with them both. They were intending to attend the funeral of a man who had died from a stomach ailment. One of them said to the other, "Didn't the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say that the one who dies from a stomach ailment will not be punished in the grave?" The other replied, "Yes, he did."

عبداللہ بن یسار رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت سلیمان بن صرد رضی اللہ عنہ اور حضرت خالد بن عرفطہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس بیٹھا ہوا تھا وہ دونوں پیٹ کے مرض میں مبتلا ہو کر مرنے والے ایک آدمی کے جنازے میں شرکت کا ارادہ رکھتے تھے اسی دوران ایک نے دوسرے سے کہا کہ کیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہ نہیں فرمایا کہ جو شخص پیٹ کی بیماری میں مبتلا ہو کر مرے اسے قبر میں عذاب نہیں ہوگا؟ دوسرے نے کہا کیوں نہیں۔
Abdullah bin Yasar rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki aik martaba main Hazrat Sulaiman bin Sard (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur Hazrat Khalid bin Arfatha (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke paas baitha hua tha woh donon pait ke marz mein mubtala ho kar marne wale ek aadmi ke janaze mein shirkat ka irada rakhte the isi dauran ek ne dusre se kaha ki kya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye nahin farmaya ki jo shakhs pait ki bimari mein mubtala ho kar mare use qabar mein azab nahin hoga? Dusre ne kaha kyun nahin.
Khalid bin Arfatha (RA) said about Mukhtar Thaqafi, "This man is a liar and I have heard the Holy Prophet (PBUH) saying, 'Whoever intentionally attributes a lie to me, then he should prepare his abode in the fire of Hell.'"

حضرت خالد بن عرفطہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے مختار ثقفی کے متعلق فرمایا یہ کذاب آدمی ہے اور میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص جان بوجھ کر میری طرف کسی بات کی جھوٹی نسبت کرتا ہے تو اسے چاہئے کہ جہنم کی آگ میں اپنا ٹھکانہ بنالے۔
Hazrat Khalid bin Arfatha RA ne Mukhtar Saqafi ke mutalliq farmaya yeh kazab aadmi hai aur maine Nabi Kareem SAW ko ye farmate hue suna hai ke jo shakhs jaan boojh kar meri taraf kisi baat ki jhooti nisbat karta hai to use chahiye ke jahannam ki aag mein apna thikana bana le.
