It is narrated on the authority of Ka'b bin 'Asim Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, who was among the people of Saqifah, that I heard the Holy Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, saying that there is no goodness in keeping fasts while traveling.

حضرت کعب بن عاصم اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جو کہ اصحاب سقیفہ میں سے تھے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ سفر میں روزہ رکھنا کوئی نیکی نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Kaab bin Asim Ashari RA se marvi hai ki jo ki Ashab Saqifa mein se thay ki maine Nabi Kareem SAW ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki safar mein roza rakhna koi neki nahi hai.
It has been narrated on the authority of Ka'b bin Asim Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, who was one of the people present at Saqifah, that I heard the Holy Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, saying: There is no goodness in fasting while on a journey.
