A companion from the people of Medina (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "Once I prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and heard him reciting Surah Qaf and Surah Yaseen in the Fajr prayer."

اہل مدینہ میں سے ایک صحابی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی تو نماز فجر میں آپ ﷺ کو سورت ق اور سورت یس کی تلاوت کرتے ہوئے سنا۔
Ahl Madina mein se aik sahabi razi Allah anhu kehte hain ke aik martaba unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peeche namaz parhi to namaz fajr mein aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko surat Qaf aur surat Yaseen ki tilawat karte hue suna.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ، أَنَّهُ صَلَّى خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَسَمِعَهُ" يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ وَ يس وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيم".
