Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10119
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The dinar you spend in the way of Allah, the dinar you give to the poor and needy, the dinar with which you free a slave, and the dinar you spend on your family - the one with the greatest reward is the dinar you spend on your family."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ دینار جو تم اللہ کے راستہ میں خرچ کرو اور وہ دینار جو مساکین میں تقسیم کرو اور وہ دینار جس سے کسی غلام کو آزاد کراؤ اور وہ دینار جو اپنے اہل خانہ پر خرچ کرو ان میں سب سے زیادہ ثواب اس دینار پر ہوگا جو تم اپنے اہل خانہ پر خرچ کروگے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allah Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya woh dinar jo tum Allah ke rastay mein kharch karo aur woh dinar jo misaqin mein taqseem karo aur woh dinar jis se kisi ghulam ko azad karao aur woh dinar jo apne ahl e khana par kharch karo in mein sab se ziada sawab us dinar par hoga jo tum apne ahl e khana par kharch karoge.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مُزَاحِمِ بْنِ زُفَرَ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِيمَا أَعْلَمُ شَكَّ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: " دِينَارٌ أَنْفَقْتَهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَدِينَارٌ فِي الْمَسَاكِينِ، وَدِينَارٌ فِي رَقَبَةٍ، وَدِينَارٌ فِي أَهْلِكَ، أَعْظَمُهَا أَجْرًا الدِّينَارُ الَّذِي تُنْفِقُهُ عَلَى أَهْلِكَ" .
