Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10128
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that when the Imam is delivering the sermon of Friday prayer and you say to your companion, "Keep quiet", then you have engaged in vain talk.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ امام جب وقت جمعہ کا خطبہ دے رہا ہو اور تم اپنے ساتھی کو صرف یہ کہو کہ خاموش رہو تو تم نے لغو کام کیا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki Imam jab waqt Jumma ka khutba de raha ho aur tum apne sathi ko sirf ye kaho ki khamosh raho to tumne lagu kaam kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، قََالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ لِصَاحِبِهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ أَنْصِتْ فَقَدْ لَغَا" .
