Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1025
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that once, while performing ablution, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, washed the body parts three times.

سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ وضو کرتے ہوئے اعضاء وضو کو تین تین مرتبہ دھویا۔
Sayyiduna Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba wazu karte huye aaza wazu ko teen teen martaba dhoya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" يَتَوَضَّأُ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا".
