Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10312
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Your supplication will definitely be accepted, provided that you are not impatient." Impatience here means that a person starts saying, "I have made so many supplications to my Lord, but He does not accept them."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تمہاری دعاء ضرور قبول ہوگی بشرطیکہ جلدبازی نہ کی جائے جلدبازی سے مراد یہ ہے کہ آدمی یوں کہنا شروع کردے کہ میں نے تو اپنے رب سے اتنی دعائیں کیں وہ قبول ہی نہیں کرتا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tumhari dua zaroor qubool hogi basharte keh jaldbazi na ki jaye jaldbazi se murad yeh hai keh aadmi yun kehna shuru karde keh mein ne to apne Rab se itni duain ki woh qubool hi nahi karta.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ ، قََالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي أَزْهَرَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يُسْتَجَابُ لِأَحَدِكُمْ مَا لَمْ يَعْجَلْ، فَيَقُولُ: قَدْ دَعَوْتُ فَمَا يُسْتَجَابُ لِي" .
