Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10375
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Near the Day of Judgment, there will be an abundance of 'Harj'." Someone asked, "What is the meaning of 'Harj'?" He (the Prophet) replied, "Killing."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا قیامت سے پہلے " ہرج " کی کثرت ہوگی کسی نے پوچھا کہ ہرج کا کیا معنی ہے؟ فرمایا قتل۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya qayamat se pehle "harj" ki kasrat hogi kisi ne poocha keh harj ka kya mani hai? Farmaya qatal.
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، قََالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَلِيمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ، قََالَ: لَا أَعْلَمُ هَذَا إِلَّا مَا حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبِي وَقَرَأْتُهُ عَلَيْهِ، قََالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ , يَقُولُ: وَلَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ السَّاعَةِ الْهَرْجَ"، قَالَ: قِيلَ: وَمَا الْهَرْجُ؟ قَالَ: الْقَتْلُ" .
