Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10457
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Three knots are tied on the head of one of you every night. If he wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is loosened. If he performs ablution, two knots are loosened. And if he prays, all the knots are loosened. If he spends the night without remembering Allah, performing ablution, or praying, then he wakes up in the morning with all the knots still tied.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا رات کے وقت ابن آدم کے سر کے جوڑ کے پاس تین گرہیں لگ جاتی ہیں اگر بندہ بیدار ہو کر اللہ کا ذکر کرلے تو ایک گرہ کھل جاتی ہے وضو کرلے تو دو گرہیں کھل جاتی ہیں اور نماز پڑھ لے تو ساری گرہیں کھل جاتی ہیں اور اگر وہ اس حال میں رات گذارے کہ اللہ کا ذکر کرے اور نہ ہی وضو اور نماز یہاں تک کہ صبح ہوجائے تو وہ ان تمام گرہوں کے ساتھ صبح کرتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya raat ke waqt ibn e Adam ke sar ke jod ke pass teen girahein lag jati hain agar banda bedar ho kar Allah ka zikar kar le to ek girah khul jati hai wazu kar le to do girahein khul jati hain aur namaz parh le to sari girahein khul jati hain aur agar wo is hal mein raat guzare ki Allah ka zikar kare aur na hi wazu aur namaz yahan tak ki subah ho jaye to wo in tamam girahon ke sath subah karta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ: " إِذَا نَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ، عُقِدَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثُ عُقَدٍ بِجَرِيرٍ، فَإِنْ قَامَ فَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، أُطْلِقَتْ وَاحِدَةٌ، وَإِنْ مَضَى فَتَوَضَّأَ أُطْلِقَتْ الثَّانِيَةُ، فَإِنْ مَضَى فَصَلَّى أُطْلِقَتْ الثَّالِثَةُ، فَإِنْ أَصْبَحَ وَلَمْ يَقُمْ شَيْئًا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ، أَصْبَحَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ" , يَعْنِي: الْجَرِيرَ.
