Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10666
It is narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Imam is a guardian and the Mu'azzin is a trustee. O Allah, guide the Imams and forgive the Mu'azzins."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا امام ضامن ہوتا ہے اور مؤذن امانت دار اے اللہ اماموں کی رہنمائی فرما اور موذنین کی مغفرت فرما۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya imam zaman hota hai aur moazzin amanatdar ae Allah imamon ki rehnumai farma aur moazzinon ki maghfirat farma.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ , حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ , عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ , وَالْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ , اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدْ الْأَئِمَّةَ , وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ" .
