Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10744
Shuaib bin Harb, may Allah have mercy on him, said: I heard Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, mentioning Sufian Thawri, may Allah have mercy on him, and he said: "He parted from me on the condition that he would not drink Nabidh."
شعیب بن حرب رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے امام مالک رحمہ اللہ کو حضرت سفیان ثوری رحمہ اللہ کا تذکرہ کرتے ہوئے سنا کہ انہوں نے فرمایا وہ مجھ سے اس شرط پر جدا ہوئے ہیں کہ نبیذ نہیں پئیں گے۔
Shuaib bin Harb rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki maine Imam Malik rehmatullah alaih ko Hazrat Sufyan Sauri rehmatullah alaih ka tazkira karte hue suna ki unhon ne farmaya woh mujh se is shart par juda hue hain ki nabiz nahin piyen ge.
حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ أَبُو صَالِحٍ , قََالَ: سَمِعْتُ مَالِكَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ , وَذَكَرَ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيَّ ، فَقَالَ: " أَمَا إِنَّهُ قَدْ فَارَقَنِي عَلَى أَنَّهُ لَا يَشْرَبُ النَّبِيذَ" .
