Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10880
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not accompany a funeral with fire or voices (musical instruments), and do not walk in front of it.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جنازے کے ساتھ آگ اور آوازیں (باجے) نہ لے کر جایا جائے اور نہ ہی اس کے آگے چلا جائے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya janaze ke sath aag aur aawazen (baaje) na le kar jaya jaye aur na hi uske aage chala jaye.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ , حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى , أَخْبَرَنَا بَابُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ , حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ , أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تُتْبَعُ الْجِنَازَةُ بِصَوْتٍ، وَلَا نَارٍ , وَلَا يُمْشَى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا" .
