The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10898
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "If the people knew what (a reward) there was in the call to prayer and in the first row, and they could not find any means of having it except by drawing lots, then they would draw lots for it. And if they knew what (a reward) there was in going early for the prayer, they would race for it. And if they knew what (a reward) there was in 'Isha' and Fajr prayer in congregation, they would come to them even if they had to crawl."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر لوگوں کو پتہ چل جائے کہ اذان اور صف اول میں نماز کا کیا ثواب ہے اور پھر انہیں یہ چیزیں قرعہ اندازی کے بغیر حاصل نہ ہو سکیں تو وہ ان دونوں کا ثواب حاصل کرنے کے لئے قرعہ اندازی کرنے لگیں اور اگر لوگوں کو یہ پتہ چل جائے کہ جلدی نماز میں آنے کا کتنا ثواب ہے تو وہ اس کی طرف سبقت کرنے لگیں اور اگر انہیں یہ معلوم ہوجائے کہ نماز عشاء اور نماز فجر کا کتنا ثواب ہے تو وہ ان دونوں نمازوں میں ضرورت شرکت کریں خواہ انہیں گھسٹ گھسٹ کر ہی آنا پڑے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar logon ko pata chal jaye ke azaan aur saff e awwal mein namaz ka kya sawab hai aur phir unhen ye cheezen qurrah andazi ke baghair hasil na ho sakein to wo in donon ka sawab hasil karne ke liye qurrah andazi karne lagein aur agar logon ko ye pata chal jaye ke jaldi namaz mein aane ka kitna sawab hai to wo uski taraf sabaqat karne lagein aur agar unhen ye maloom ho jaye ke namaz isha aur namaz fajr ka kitna sawab hai to wo in donon namaazon mein zaror shirkat karein chahe unhen ghasit ghasit kar hi aana pade.
وَقََالَ: " لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا لَهُمْ فِي النِّدَاءِ وَالصَّفِّ الأَوْلِ , ثُمَّ لَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلَّا أَنْ يَسْتَهِمُوا عَلَيْهِ , لَاسْتَهَمُوا , وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي التَّهْجِيرِ , لَاسْتَبَقُوا إِلَيْهِ , وَلَوْ عَلِمُوا مَا فِي الْعَتَمَةِ وَالصُّبْحِ , لَأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا" .
