Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10918
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Once, I was walking with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the orchard of one of the people of Medina. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Abu Hurairah! The people of wealth and possessions are doomed except those who give in charity with their own hands, right and left, and forward, but such people are very few." Then after walking for a while, he said, "O Abu Hurairah! Shall I not tell you a treasure of Paradise?" I said, "Why not, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" He said, "Say: La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no power and no might except by Allah), wa la malja'a minallah illa ilayh (and there is no refuge from Allah except in Him)." Then, after walking for a while, he said, "O Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), do you know what is the right of Allah upon the people, and what is the right of the people upon Allah?" I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The right of Allah upon the people is that they should worship Him alone and not associate any partners with Him. And when they do so, His right upon them is that He should not punish them." I said, "Shall I not inform the people of this?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Let them act upon it."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ اہل مدینہ میں سے کسی کے باغ میں چلا جارہا تھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے ابوہریرہ! مال و دولت کی ریل پیل والے لوگ ہلاک ہوگئے سوائے ان لوگوں کے جو اپنے ہاتھوں سے بھر بھر کر دائیں بائیں اور آگے تقسیم کریں لیکن ایسے لوگ بہت تھوڑے ہیں پھر کچھ دیر چلنے کے بعد فرمایا ابوہریرہ! کیا میں تمہیں جنت کا ایک خزانہ نہ بتاؤں؟ میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ کیوں نہیں فرمایا یوں کہا کرو لاحول ولاقوۃ الاباللہ و لا ملجا من اللہ الا الیہ پھر کچھ دیر چلنے کے بعد فرمایا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کیا تم جانتے ہو کہ اللہ پر لوگوں کا کیا حق ہے؟ اور لوگوں پر اللہ کا کیا حق ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا اللہ اور اس کا رسول ہی زیادہ جانتے ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا لوگوں پر اللہ کا حق یہ ہے کہ وہ اسی کی عبادت کریں کسی کو اس کے ساتھ شریک نہ ٹھہرائیں اور جب وہ یہ کرلیں تو اللہ پر ان کا حق یہ ہے کہ انہیں عذاب نہ دے۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ کیا میں لوگوں کو اس سے مطلع نہ کردوں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا انہیں عمل کرنے دو۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ek martaba main Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath ahle Madinah mein se kisi ke bagh mein chala ja raha tha ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Abu Hurairah! Mal o daulat ki rail pel wale log halaak hogaye siwaye un logon ke jo apne hathon se bhar bhar kar daen baen aur aage taqseem karen lekin aise log bahut thore hain phir kuch der chalne ke baad farmaya Abu Hurairah! kya main tumhen jannat ka ek khazana na bataun? Maine arz kiya ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kyun nahin farmaya yun kaha karo la hawla wala quwwata illa billahi wala malja minallahi illla ilayhi phir kuch der chalne ke baad farmaya Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kya tum jante ho ke Allah par logon ka kya haq hai? Aur logon par Allah ka kya haq hai? Maine arz kiya Allah aur us ka Rasul hi zyada jante hain Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya logon par Allah ka haq ye hai ke wo usi ki ibadat karen kisi ko uske sath sharik na theraen aur jab wo ye karlen to Allah par un ka haq ye hai ke unhen azab na de. Maine arz kiya ke kya main logon ko is se muttalla na kar dun? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya unhen amal karne do.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ , حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ الْحُرِّ النَّخَعِيُّ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ , عَنْ كُمَيْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ: خَرَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَائِطٍ , فَقَالَ:" يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ , هَلَكَ الْأَكْثَرُونَ , إِلَّا مَنْ قَالَ: هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا , وَقَلِيلٌ مَا هُمْ" فَمَشَيْتُ مَعَهُ , ثُمَّ قَالَ:" أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى كَنْزٍ مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ؟ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ" . قَالَ: ثُمَّ قَالَ:" يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَة تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ؟" , قُلْتُ: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ , قَالَ: " حَقُّهُ أَنْ يَعْبُدُوهُ , لَا يُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا" , ثُمَّ قَالَ:" تَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ الْعِبَادِ عَلَى اللَّهِ , فَإِنَّ حَقَّهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ , أَنْ لَا يُعَذِّبَهُمْ" , قُلْتُ: أَفَلَا أُخْبِرُهُمْ , قَالَ:" دَعْهُمْ فَلْيَعْمَلُوا" .
