Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10950
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The believer is characterized by modesty (and a sense of honor), and Allah is even more so. And among the manifestations of Allah's honor is His displeasure with His servant committing acts that He has forbidden."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا مومن غیرت مند ہوتا ہے اور اللہ اس سے بھی زیادہ غیور ہے۔ اور غیرت الٰہی کا یہ حصہ ہے کہ انسان ایسی چیزوں سے اجتناب کرے جنہیں اللہ نے حرام قرار دیا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya momin ghairat mand hota hai aur Allah us se bhi ziada ghayur hai aur ghairat ilahi ka yeh hissa hai keh insan aisi cheezon se ijtinab kare jinhen Allah ne haram qarar diya hai
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَهُوَ شَيْبَانُ , عَنْ يَحْيَى , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغَارُ , وَإِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ يَغَارُ , وَغَيْرَةُ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِ" .
