Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11041
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "There will come a time upon the people when groups of people will go out for Jihad. Someone will ask, 'Is there a companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) among you?' The people will reply in the affirmative and the Muslims will achieve victory. Then, on another occasion, groups of people will go out for Jihad and someone will ask, 'Is there a companion of the companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) among you?' The people will reply in the affirmative and the Muslims will achieve victory. Then, on another occasion, groups of people will go out for Jihad and someone will ask, 'Is there a companion of the companion of the companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) among you?' The people will reply in the affirmative and the Muslims will achieve victory."

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا لوگوں پر ایک زمانہ ایسا بھی آئے گا جس میں لوگوں کی جماعتیں جہاد کے لئے نکلیں گی، کوئی آدمی پوچھے گا کہ کیا تم میں نبی ﷺ کا کوئی صحابی موجود ہے؟ لوگ اثبات میں جواب دیں گے اور مسلمانوں کو فتح نصیب ہوجائے گی، پھر ایک اور موقع پر لوگوں کی جماعتیں جہاد کے لئے نکلیں گی، کوئی آدمی پوچھے گا کیا تم میں صحابی کا صحابی موجود ہے؟ لوگ اثبات میں جواب دیں گے اور مسلمانوں کو فتح نصیب ہوجائے گی، پھر ایک اور موقع پر لوگوں کی جماعتیں جہاد کے لئے نکلیں گی اور کوئی آدمی پوچھے گا کہ کیا تم میں صحابی کے صحابی کا صحابی موجود ہے؟ لوگ اثبات میں جواب دیں گے اور مسلمانوں کو فتح نصیب ہوگی۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Razi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya logon per aik zamana aisa bhi aye ga jis mein logon ki jamaaten jihad ke liye niklen gi, koi aadmi pooche ga kya tum mein Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ka koi sahabi maujood hai? Log isbat mein jawab denge aur musalmanon ko fatah naseeb ho jaye gi, phir aik aur mauqa per logon ki jamaaten jihad ke liye niklen gi, koi aadmi pooche ga kya tum mein sahabi ka sahabi maujood hai? حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، سَمِعَ جَابِرًا ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ، يَغْزُو فِئَامٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَيُقَالُ: هَلْ فِيكُمْ مَنْ صَاحَبَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟، فَيَقُولُونَ: نَعَمْ، فَيُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ، ثُمَّ يَغْزُو فِئَامٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَيُقَالُ: هَلْ فِيكُمْ مَنْ صَاحَبَ مَنْ صَاحَبَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: نَعَمْ، فَيُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ، ثُمَّ يَغْزُو فِئَامٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَيَقُولُونَ: هَلْ فِيكُمْ مَنْ صَاحَبَ مَنْ صَاحَبَ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟، فَيَقُولُونَ: نَعَمْ، فَيُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ".
