The Musnad of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him)

مسنَد اَبِی سَعِید الخدرِیِّ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11241

And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If people knew the reward for the call to prayer (adhan), they would fight each other with swords to give the adhan."


Grade: Da'if

اور نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر لوگوں کو اذان دینے کا ثواب معلوم ہوجائے تو اذانیں دینے کے لئے آپس میں تلواروں سے لڑنے لگیں

aur nabi salallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya agar logon ko azan dene ka sawab maloom hojae to azanen dene ke lye aapas mein talwaron se ladne lagein.

(حديث موقوف) وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي التَّأْذِينِ لَتَضَارَبُوا عَلَيْهِ بِالسُّيُوفِ".
