Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11297
Ibn Wadak (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “When I heard this Hadith from Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), I vowed that I would never drink Nabidh (a drink made from dates or grapes). A young man was brought before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in a state of intoxication. He said, ‘I did not drink wine, but I drank the water of raisins and dates that was kept in a jar.’” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that he be beaten on his hands and feet. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the making of Nabidh by mixing dates and raisins with the Nabidh of the jar.

ابن وداک رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے جب حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے یہ حدیث سنی ہے، میں نے عہد کرلیا کہ نبیذ نہیں پیوں گا، کہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں نشے کی حالت میں ایک نوجوان کو لایا گیا، اس نے کہا کہ میں نے شراب نہیں پی بلکہ ایک مٹکے میں رکھی ہوئی کشمش اور کھجور کا پانی پیا ہے، نبی ﷺ کے حکم پر اسے ہاتھوں اور جوتوں سے مارا گیا اور نبی ﷺ نے مٹکے کی نبیذ سے کشمش اور کھجور کو ملا کر نبیذ بنانے سے منع فرمادیا۔
Ibn e Wadak rehmatullah alaih kehte hain keh maine jab Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri razi Allah tala anhu se ye hadees suni hai maine ahd karliya keh nabiz nahin piyunga keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein nashe ki halat mein ek naujawan ko laya gaya usne kaha keh maine sharaab nahin pi balkeh ek matke mein rakhi hui kishmish aur khajoor ka pani piya hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hukum par use hathon aur joton se mara gaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne matke ki nabiz se kishmish aur khajoor ko mila kar nabiz banane se mana farmadiya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْوَدَّاكِ ، وَقَالَ حَجَّاجٌ : عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ ، يَقُولُ: لَا أَشْرَبُ نَبِيذًا بَعْدَ مَا سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ يَقُولُ: أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ نَشْوَانَ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَمْ أَشْرَبْ خَمْرًا، إِنَّمَا شَرِبْتُ زَبِيبًا وَتَمْرًا فِي دُبَّاءَةٍ، قَالَ: فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَنُهِزَ بِالْأَيْدِي، وَخُفِقَ بِالنِّعَالِ،" وَنَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ، وَنَهَى عَنِ الزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ، يَعْنِي أَنْ يُخْلَطَا".
