Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11301
Abu Sa'eed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent a message to the Banu Lahyan tribe that one of every two men should go out for Jihad and both will receive the reward. Then he said, "O Allah! Bless our Mudd and Sa'a (units of measurement) and double the blessing in them."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بنو لحیان کے پاس یہ پیغام بھیجا کہ ہر دو میں سے ایک آدمی کو جہاد کے لئے نکلنا چاہئے اور دونوں کو ثواب ملے گا۔ پھر فرمایا: اے اللہ! ہمارے مد اور صاع میں برکت عطاء فرما اور اس برکت کو دو گ نافرما۔
Hazrat Abusaeed Khudri raziallahu anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Banu Lahian ke pas yeh pegham bheja keh har do mein se ek aadmi ko jihad ke liye nikalna chahiye aur donon ko sawab milay ga. Phir farmaya: Aye Allah! Hamare mudd aur sa'a mein barkat ata farma aur is barkat ko do guna farma.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ بَعْثًا إِلَى لَحْيَانَ بْنِ هُذَيْلٍ، قَالَ:" لِيَنْبَعِثْ مِنْ كُلِّ رَجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا، وَالْأَجْرُ بَيْنَهُمَا". (حديث موقوف) ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مُدِّنَا وَصَاعِنَا، وَاجْعَلْ الْبَرَكَةَ بَرَكَتَيْنِ".
