Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11463
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Any group of people that sits for the remembrance of Allah, the angels surround them, mercy covers them, tranquility descends upon them, and Allah mentions them to those who are with Him (the angels) in the highest heaven."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ اور ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے شہادۃً مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا لوگوں کی جو جماعت بھی اللہ کا ذکر کرنے کے لئے بیٹھتی ہے، فرشتے اسے گھیر لیتے ہیں، ان پر سکینہ نازل ہوتا ہے، رحمت انہیں ڈھانپ لیتی ہے اور اللہ ان کا تذکرہ ملاء الاعلیٰ میں کرتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se shahadatan marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya logon ki jo jamat bhi Allah ka zikr karne ke liye baithti hai, farishte use gher lete hain, un par sakina nazil hota hai, rehmat unhen dhaamp leti hai aur Allah un ka tazkara malae aala mein karta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ: أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا حَفَّتْ بِهِمْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ، وَغَشِيَتْهُمْ الرَّحْمَةُ، وَذَكَرَهُمْ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ".
