Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11514
It is narrated on the authority of Tariq bin Shihab that once Marwan started delivering the sermon on the day of Eid before the prayer, which had never happened before. Seeing this, a man stood up and said that the prayer is offered before the sermon. Marwan said that this thing has become obsolete. Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) was also present in that gathering. He stood up and said that this man has fulfilled his responsibility. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that whoever among you sees an evil and has the power to change it with his hand, then he should do so. If he does not have the power to change it with his hand, then with his tongue, and if he cannot do it with his tongue, then he should consider it bad in his heart, and this is the weakest level of faith.

طارق بن شہاب سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ مروان نے عید کے دن نماز سے پہلے خطبہ دینا شروع کیا، جو کہ پہلے کبھی نہیں ہوا تھا، یہ دیکھ کر ایک آدمی کھڑا ہو کر کہنے لگا نماز خطبہ سے پہلے ہوتی ہے، اس نے کہا کہ یہ چیز متروک ہوچکی ہے، اس مجلس میں حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ بھی تھے، انہوں نے کھڑے ہو کر فرمایا کہ اس شخص نے اپنی ذمہ داری پوری کردی، میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ تم میں سے جو شخص کوئی برائی ہوتے ہوئے دیکھے اور اسے ہاتھ سے بدلنے کی طاقت رکھتا ہو تو ایسا ہی کرے، اگر ہاتھ سے بدلنے کی طاقت نہیں رکھتا تو زبان سے اور اگر زبان سے بھی نہیں کرسکتا تو دل سے اسے برا سمجھے اور یہ ایمان کا سب سے کمزور درجہ ہے۔
Tariq bin Shahab se marvi hai ki ek martaba Marwan ne Eid ke din namaz se pehle khutba dena shuru kiya, jo ki pehle kabhi nahi hua tha, yeh dekh kar ek aadmi khara ho kar kehne laga namaz khutba se pehle hoti hai, usne kaha ki yeh cheez matrook ho chuki hai, is majlis mein Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri raziallahu anhu bhi the, unhon ne kharay ho kar farmaya ki is shakhs ne apni zimmedari puri kardi, maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate huye suna hai ki tum mein se jo shakhs koi burai hote huye dekhe aur use hath se badalne ki taqat rakhta ho to aisa hi kare, agar hath se badalne ki taqat nahi rakhta to zaban se aur agar zaban se bhi nahi kar sakta to dil se use bura samjhe aur yeh imaan ka sab se kamzor darja hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ: أَوَّلُ مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالْخُطْبَةِ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ، مَرْوَانُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: الصَّلَاةُ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ؟ فَقَالَ مَرْوَانُ: تُرِكَ مَا هُنَالِكَ أَبَا فُلَانٍ، فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ : أَمَّا هَذَا فَقَدْ قَضَى مَا عَلَيْهِ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" مَنْ رَأَى مِنْكُمْ مُنْكَرًا، فَلْيُغَيِّرْهُ بِيَدِهِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِلِسَانِهِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِقَلْبِهِ، وَذَلِكَ أَضْعَفُ الْإِيمَانِ".
