The Musnad of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him)

مسنَد اَبِی سَعِید الخدرِیِّ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11718

And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Gatherings are of three types: Beneficial (free from sins), Gainful (that earn rewards) and Harmful (that involve useless chatter)."


Grade: Da'if

اور نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا مجالس تین طرح کی ہوتی ہیں۔ سالم (گناہوں سے محفوظ) غانم (نیکیوں کا مال غنیمت بننے والی) اور شاجب (بک بک کرنے والی)

Aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya majalis teen tarah ki hoti hain. Salem (gunahon se mehfooz) ghanim (nekiyon ka maal ghanimat banne wali) aur shajib (bak bak karne wali).

(حديث موقوف) وَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" إِنَّ الْمَجَالِسَ ثَلَاثَةٌ: سَالِمٌ، وَغَانِمٌ، وَشَاجِبٌ".
