Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 12917
It is narrated on the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was a man who was very old and weak, and he was unable to come repeatedly to pray with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "I do not have the strength to come to pray with you repeatedly. If you could come to my house one day and pray in a certain place, I would pray there." So he invited the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) one day and sprinkled water on the corner of a mat. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs there. A man from the tribe of Banu Jarud heard this and asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pray Chast (the afternoon prayer)?" He replied, "I only saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pray that prayer on that day."

حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی بڑا بھاری کم تھا، وہ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنے کے لئے بار بار نہیں آسکتا تھا، اس نے نبی ﷺ سے عرض کیا کہ میں بار بار آپ کے ساتھ آکر نماز پڑھنے کی طاقت نہیں رکھتا، اگر آپ کسی دن میرے گھر تشریف لا کر کسی جگہ نماز پڑھ دیں تو میں وہیں پر نماز پڑھ لیا کروں گا، چنانچہ اس نے ایک مرتبہ دعوت کا اہتمام کر کے نبی ﷺ کو بلایا اور ایک چٹائی کے کونے پر پانی چھڑک دیا، نبی ﷺ نے وہاں دو رکعتیں پڑھ دیں، آل جارود میں سے ایک آدمی نے یہ سن کر حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کہ کیا نبی ﷺ چاشت کی نماز پڑھتے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو وہ نماز صرف اسی دن پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا تھا۔
Hazrat Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi bada bhari kam tha, woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath namaz padhne ke liye baar baar nahin aa sakta tha, usne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se arz kiya ki main baar baar aapke sath aakar namaz padhne ki taqat nahin rakhta, agar aap kisi din mere ghar tashrif la kar kisi jagah namaz padh dein to main wahin par namaz padh liya karunga, chunancha usne ek martaba dawat ka ehtamam kar ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko bulaya aur ek chatai ke kone par pani chhidak diya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne wahan do rakatain padhin, aal jarood mein se ek aadmi ne yeh sunkar Hazrat Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se poochha ki kya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) chast ki namaz padhte the? Unhon ne farmaya ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko woh namaz sirf usi din padhte hue dekha tha.
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ: كَانَ رجل مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ضَخْمٌ، لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ مَعَكَ، فَصَنَعَ لَهُ طَعَامًا، وَدَعَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَبَسَطُوا لَهُ حَصِيرًا، وَنَضَحُوهُ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ الْجَارُودِ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى؟ قَالَ: مَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَلَّاهَا إِلَّا يَوْمَئِذٍ.
