Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14220
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that at the time of the digging of the trench, very difficult conditions befell the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). Due to hunger, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had tied a stone to his blessed stomach.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ خندق کھودنے کے موقع پر نبی ﷺ اور آپ کے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم پر بڑے سخت حالات آئے حتیٰ کہ بھوک کی وجہ سے نبی ﷺ نے اپنے بطن مبارک پر پتھر باندھ رکھا تھا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Khandaq khodne ke mauqe par Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur aap ke Sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) par bade sakht halat aaye hatta ki bhook ki wajah se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne batn mubarak par pathar bandh rakha tha.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ أَيْمَنَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ:" لَمَّا حَفَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ الْخَنْدَقَ أَصَابَهُمْ جَهْدٌ شَدِيدٌ، حَتَّى رَبَطَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى بَطْنِهِ حَجَرًا مِنَ الْجُوعِ.
