Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14415
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed the Tawaf of the Ka'bah and the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah on his mount so that people could see him and easily learn the rituals, as a large crowd had surrounded him at that time.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر بیت اللہ کا طواف کیا اور صفا و مروہ کی سعی اپنی سواری پر کی تھی، تاکہ لوگ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو دیکھ سکیں اور مسائل باآسانی معلوم کر سکیں کیونکہ اس وقت لوگوں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو گھیر رکھا تھا۔
Sayyida Jaabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hajjat al-Wida ke mauke par Bait Ullah ka tawaaf kiya aur Safa o Marwa ki sa'i apni sawari par ki thi, taaki log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekh saken aur masaail ba aasani maloom kar saken kyunki us waqt logon ne Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko gher rakha tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ: طَافَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ، وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، لِيَرَاهُ النَّاسُ وَلِيُشْرِفَ، وَلِيَسْأَلُوهُ، فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ غَشُوهُ.
