Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14522
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that at the time of Hudaibiya, people were struck by intense thirst. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had only one bowl of water, from which he was performing ablution. The people, in distress, came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He asked, "What is the matter?" They replied, "O Messenger of Allah! We have no water to drink or to perform ablution with, except for this water that is in front of you." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his blessed hand into the bowl, and water began to gush forth from between his fingers like springs. We all drank from it and performed ablution. The narrator asked, "How many of you were there?" They replied, "Even if we were one hundred thousand, that water would have been sufficient for us, but at that time we were only fifteen hundred."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حدیبیہ کے موقع پر لوگوں کو پیاس نے ستایا نبی ﷺ کے پاس صرف ایک پیالہ تھا جس سے آپ وضو فرما رہے تھے لوگ گھبرائے ہوئے نبی ﷺ کے پاس آئے نبی ﷺ نے پوچھا کہ کیا ہوا لوگوں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہمارے پاس پینے کے لئے پانی ہے اور نہ ہی وضو کے لئے سوائے اس پانی کے جو آپ کے سامنے ہے نبی ﷺ نے اس پیالہ میں اپنا دست مبارک رکھ دیا ان انگلیوں کے درمیان سے چشموں کی طرح ابلنے لگاہم سب نے اسے پیا اور وضو کیا راوی نے پوچھا کہ اس وقت آپ کتنے لوگ تھے انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ اگر ہم ایک لاکھ بھی ہوتے تو وہ پانی ہمیں کافی ہو جاتا لیکن اس وقت ہم صرف پندرہ سو تھے۔

Hamare paas pine ke liye pani hai aur na hi wuzu ke liye siwaye is pani ke jo aap ke samne hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is pyala mein apna dast mubarak rakh diya in ungliyon ke darmiyan se chashmon ki tarah ubalne laga hum sab ne ise piya aur wuzu kiya ravi ne poocha ki us waqt aap kitne log the unhon ne jawab diya ki agar hum ek lakh bhi hote to wo pani humain kafi ho jata lekin us waqt hum sirf pandrah sau the.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُصَيْنُ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ: عَطِشَ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ رَكْوَةٌ يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْهَا، إِذْ جَهَشَ النَّاسُ نَحْوَهُ، فَقَالَ:" مَا شَأْنُكُمْ؟" قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَنَا مَاءٌ نَشْرَبُ مِنْهُ، وَلَا مَاءٌ نَتَوَضَّأُ بِهِ إِلَّا مَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ، فَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ فِي الرَّكْوَةِ، فَجَعَلَ الْمَاءُ يَفُورُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ كَأَمْثَالِ الْعُيُونِ، فَشَرِبْنَا وَتَوَضَّأْنَا، فَقُلْتُ: كَمْ كُنْتُمْ؟ قَالَ: لَوْ كُنَّا مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ كَفَانَا، كُنَّا خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ مِائَةً.
