Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14824
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If a man gives a woman two handfuls of flour as dowry, then she will be lawful for him.
Grade: Da'if
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: اگر کوئی آدمی کسی عورت کو دونوں ہاتھ بھر کر آٹا ہی بطور مہر کے دیدے تو وہ اس کے لئے حلال ہو جائے گی۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Agar koi aadmi kisi aurat ko donon hath bhar kar aata hi ba-taur mehr ke dede to wo uske liye halal ho jayegi.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ رُومَانَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْطَى امْرَأَةً صَدَاقًا مِلْءَ يَدَيْهِ طَعَامًا، كَانَتْ لَهُ حَلَالًا".
