The Musnad of Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him)
مُسْنَدُ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 15284
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ka'b bin 'Ajrah (may Allah be pleased with him), "May Allah protect you from the rule of the foolish." He asked, "What is meant by the rule of the foolish?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "It refers to the rulers who will come after me, those who will endorse their falsehood and cooperate in their oppression. They have nothing to do with me, and I have nothing to do with them, and they will not be able to reach me at the Hawdh (Cistern) of Kawthar. But those who do not endorse their falsehood and do not cooperate in their oppression, they are from me and I am from them, and soon they will join me at the Hawdh of Kawthar." "O Ka'b bin 'Ajrah, fasting is a shield, charity extinguishes sins, and prayer is a means of nearness to Allah. O Ka'b bin 'Ajrah, no one will enter Paradise whose nourishment comes from haram (forbidden) sources, and Hellfire is more deserving of them. O Ka'b bin 'Ajrah, people will be divided into two groups: some will purchase their souls and set them free, while others will purchase their souls and destroy them."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ سیدنا کعب بن عجرہ سے فرمایا کہ اللہ تمہیں بیوقوفوں کی حکمرانی سے بچائے انہوں نے پوچھا کہ بیوقوفوں کی حکمرانی سے کیا مراد ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اس سے مراد وہ حکمران ہیں جو میرے بعد آئے گے جو لوگ ان کے جھوٹ کی تصدیق کر یں گے اور ان کے ظلم پر تعاون کر یں گے ان کا مجھ سے اور میرا ان سے کوئی تعلق نہیں اور یہ لوگ حوض کوثر پر بھی میرے پاس نہ آسکیں گے لیکن جو لوگ ان کی جھوٹی باتوں کی تصدیق نہ کر یں گے اور ان کے ظلم پر تعاون کر یں نہ کر یں تو وہی لوگ مجھ سے ہوں گے اور میں ان سے ہوں گا اور عنقریب وہ میرے پاس حوض کوثر پر آئیں گے۔ اے کعب بن عجرہ۔ روزہ ڈھال ہے صدقہ گناہوں کو مٹا دیتا ہے نماز قرب الٰہی کا ذریعہ ہے اے کعب بن عجرہ جنت میں کوئی ایساوجود داخل نہیں ہو سکے گا جس کی پرورش حرام سے ہوئی اور جہنم اس کی زیادہ حقدار ہو گی اے کعب بن عجرہ لوگ دو حصوں میں تقسیم ہوں گے کچھ تو اپنے نفس کو خرید کر اسے آزاد کر دیں گے اور کچھ اسے خرید کر ہلاک کر دیں گے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba Sayyidna Kaab bin Ujrah se farmaya ki Allah tumhen bewakoofon ki hukmarani se bachaye unhon ne poocha ki bewakoofon ki hukmarani se kya murad hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki is se murad woh hukmaran hain jo mere baad aayenge jo log unke jhoot ki tasdeeq karenge aur unke zulm par taawun karenge unka mujhse aur mera unse koi taluq nahin aur ye log hauz kauthar par bhi mere paas na aa sakenge lekin jo log unki jhooti baaton ki tasdeeq na karenge aur unke zulm par taawun karen na karen to wohi log mujhse honge aur main unse hon ga aur anqareeb woh mere paas hauz kauthar par aayenge. Aye Kaab bin Ujrah. Roza dhaal hai sadqah gunaahon ko mita deta hai namaz qurb ilahi ka zariya hai aye Kaab bin Ujrah jannat mein koi aisa wajood dakhil nahin ho sakega jiski parwarish haram se hui aur jahannam uski zyada haqdaar ho gi aye Kaab bin Ujrah log do hisson mein taqseem honge kuch to apne nafs ko khareed kar use aazaad kar denge aur kuch use khareed kar halaak kar denge.
(حديث موقوف)" يَا كَعْبُ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ , النَّاسُ غَادِيَانِ فَغَادٍ بَائِعٌ نَفْسَهُ وَمُوبِقٌ رَقَبَتَهُ , وَغَادٍ مُبْتَاعٌ نَفْسَهُ وَمُعْتِقٌ رَقَبَتَهُ".
