Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 15569
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "To strive in the cause of Allah for the morning or evening of a day is better than the world and all that is in it. And a place in Paradise equal to the space of a whip is better than the world and all that is in it."

سیدنا سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ کے راستے میں ایک صبح یا ایک شام کے لئے نکلنادنیاومافیھا سے بہتر ہے اور جنت میں کسی شخص کے کوڑے کی جگہ دنیاومافیھا سے بہتر ہے۔
Sayyidna Sahl bin Saad (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Allah ke raste mein ek subah ya ek sham ke liye nikalna duniya wa ma fiha se behtar hai aur Jannat mein kisi shakhs ke kore ki jagah duniya wa ma fiha se behtar hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْعَطَّافُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ , قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ , قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ:" غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ , خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا، وَرَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ , خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا، وَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ , خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا".
