Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16184
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Razin Uqayli that once he came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted: My father is a very weak man, he does not have the strength to perform Hajj and Umrah, nor does he have any desire for women. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Then you perform Hajj and Umrah on his behalf.

سیدنا ابورزین عقیلی سے مروی ہے کہ وہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا: میرے والد صاحب انتہائی ضعیف آدمی ہیں وہ حج عمرہ کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے خواتین کی بھی خواہش نہیں رہی نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: پھر تم ان کی طرف سے حج اور عمرہ کر لو۔
Sayyidna Abu Zarain Uqaili se marvi hai ki woh aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur arz kiya: Mere walid sahab intehai zaeef aadmi hain woh Hajj Umrah ki taqat nahin rakhte khawateen ki bhi khwahish nahin rahi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Phir tum un ki taraf se Hajj aur Umrah kar lo.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ وَلَا الْعُمْرَةَ وَلَا الظَّعْنَ. قَالَ:" حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ وَاعْتَمِرْ".
