Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16277
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Uthman that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, advised me last of all, that when you lead the people in prayer, shorten the prayer for them.

سیدنا عثمان سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مجھے سب سے آخر میں وصیت کی تھی وہ یہ تھی کہ جب تم لوگوں کی امامت کرنا تو انہیں نماز مختصر پڑھانا۔
Sayyidna Usman se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe sab se akhir mein wasiyat ki thi woh yeh thi keh jab tum logon ki imamat karna to unhen namaz mukhtasar parhana.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَاصِ ، قَالَ: آخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا أَمَمْتَ قَوْمًا، فَأَخِفَّ بِهِمْ الصَّلَاةَ".
