Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16682
It was narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'b bin Jathamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about the families of the polytheists, whom are attacked at night and their women and children are also killed during the attack. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “They (women and children) are also from among the polytheists (so they will be counted among the polytheists)."

سیدنا صعب بن جثامہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سے ان مشرکین کے اہل خانہ کے متعلق پوچھا: گیا جن پر شب خون مارا جائے اور اس دوران ان کی عورتیں اور بچے بھی مارے جائیں؟ تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: وہ (عورتیں اور بچے) بھی مشرکین ہی کے ہیں (اس لئے مشرکین ہی میں شمار ہوں گے)۔
Sayyidna Sab bin Jussama (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se in mushrikeen ke ahl e khana ke mutalliq poocha gaya jin par shab khoon mara jaye aur is dauran un ki auratain aur bachay bhi maare jayen to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya wo auratain aur bachay bhi mushrikeen hi ke hain is liye mushrikeen hi mein shumar honge.
قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ يَعْنِي الْحُمَيْدِيَّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ: أَخْبَرَنِي الصَّعْبُ بْنُ جَثَّامَةَ اللَّيْثِيُّ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ أَهْلِ الدَّارِ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، فَيُبَيَّتُونَ، فَيُصَابُ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ وَذَرَارِيِّهِمْ؟، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" هُمْ مِنْهُمْ".
