Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 17191
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Miqdam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “What you feed yourself is charity, what you feed your children is charity, what you feed your wife is charity, and what you feed your servant is charity.”

سیدنا مقدام رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”تم جو اپنے آپ کو کھلا دو وہ صدقہ ہے، جو اپنے بچوں کو کھلا دو وہ بھی صدقہ ہے، جو اپنی بیوی کو کھلا دو وہ بھی صدقہ ہے اور جو اپنے خادم کو کھلا دو وہ بھی صدقہ ہے۔“
Sayyidna Miqdam (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Tum jo apne aap ko khila do woh sadaqah hai, jo apne bachchon ko khila do woh bhi sadaqah hai, jo apni biwi ko khila do woh bhi sadaqah hai aur jo apne khadim ko khila do woh bhi sadaqah hai.“
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: " مَا أَطْعَمْتَ نَفْسَكَ، فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ، وَوَلَدَكَ وَزَوْجَتَكَ وَخَادِمَكَ" .
