The Hadith of Al-Bara' ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with him)
حَدِيثُ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18516
And the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would walk from one end of the row to the other, straightening the chests and shoulders of the worshippers, and he would say, "Do not be uneven, for it will cause discord in your hearts." And he would say, "Allah's mercy descends upon those in the first rows, and the angels continue to pray for them." And he would say, "Beautify the Quran with your voices."
اور نبی کریم ﷺ صف کے ایک کنارے سے دوسرے کنارے تک نمازیوں کے سینے اور کندھے درست کرتے ہوئے آتے تھے اور فرماتے تھے کہ آگے پیچھے مت ہوا کرو ورنہ تمہارے دلوں میں اختلاف پیدا ہوجائے گا اور فرماتے تھے کہ پہلی صفوں والوں پر اللہ تعالیٰ نزول رحمت اور فرشتے دعاء رحمت کرتے رہتے ہیں۔ اور فرماتے تھے کہ قرآن کریم کو اپنی آواز سے مزین کیا کرو۔
Aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) saf ke ek kinare se dusre kinare tak namazion ke seene aur kandhe durust karte huye aate the aur farmate the ke aage peeche mat hua karo warna tumhare dilon mein ikhtilaf paida ho jaega aur farmate the ke pahli saffon walon par Allah Ta'ala nuzool rehmat aur farishte dua rehmat karte rehte hain aur farmate the ke Quran Kareem ko apni aawaz se mazeen kiya karo.
قَالَ: وَكَانَ يَأْتِي نَاحِيَةَ الصَّفِّ إِلَى نَاحِيَتِهِ، يُسَوِّي صُدُورَهُمْ، وَمَنَاكِبَهُمْ، يَقُولُ: " لَا تَخْتَلِفُوا، فَتَخْتَلِفَ قُلُوبُكُمْ" . قَالَ:" إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الصُّفُوفِ الْأُوَلِ" . وَكَانَ يَقُولُ: " زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ" .
