Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18530
It was narrated from Bura' رضى الله عنه that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Spread the greeting of peace (Salam), you will remain safe and sound, and arrogance is the worst thing.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا سلام کو عام کرو سلامتی میں رہوگے اور تکبر بدترین چیز ہے۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya salam ko aam karo salamati mein rahoge aur takabbur battareen cheez hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَنَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ النَّهْمِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ تَسْلَمُوا، وَالْأَشَرَةُ شَرُّ" .
