Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18710
It is narrated by Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would raise his head from bowing (ruku), the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) would remain standing until the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went into prostration (sajdah). Only then would they prostrate.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تھے تو صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ اس وقت تک کھڑے رہتے جب تک نبی کریم ﷺ سجدے میں نہ چلے جاتے اس کے بعد وہ سجدے میں جاتے تھے۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW jab rukoo se sar uthate thay to sahaba kiram RA us waqt tak kharay rehtay jab tak Nabi Kareem SAW sajday mein na chalay jatay us kay baad woh sajday mein jatay thay.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَن سُفْيَانَ ، عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَن عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، قَالَ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ، لَمْ يَحْنِ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا ظَهْرَهُ حَتَّى يَسْجُدَ، ثُمَّ نَسْجُدَ" .
