ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1880
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade wearing clothes made entirely of silk. However, Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that there is no harm in wearing clothes with designs or patterns made of silk.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اس کپڑے سے منع فرمایا ہے جو مکمل طور پر ریشمی ہو، البتہ سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ جس کپڑے کے نقش و نگار ریشم کے ہوں تو اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is kapre se mana farmaya hai jo mukammal tor par reshmi ho, albatta Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain ki jis kapre ke naqsh o nigar resham ke hon to usme koi harj nahi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّقِّيَّ ، قَالَ: قَالَ خُصَيْفٌ : حَدَّثَنِي غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: إِنَّمَا نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،" عَنِ الْمُصْمَتِ مِنْهُ، فَأَمَّا الْعَلَمُ فَلَا".
