The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1908
Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If a person, upon approaching his wife for intimacy, were to say: 'Bismillah, Allahumma jannib nash shaitana wa jannibish shaitana ma razaqtana' ('In the name of Allah, O Allah, keep Satan away from us, and keep Satan away from what You bestow upon us'), then if it is decreed that they should have a child, Satan will never be able to harm that child."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اگر کوئی شخص اپنی بیوی کے پاس ملاقات کے لئے آ کر یہ دعا پڑھ لے: «بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ اللّٰهُمَّ جَنِّبْنِي الشَّيْطَانَ وَجَنِّبْ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا» ”اللہ کے نام سے، اے اللہ! مجھے بھی شیطان سے محفوظ فرما دیجئے اور اس ملاقات کے نتیجے میں آپ جو اولاد ہمیں عطاء فرمائیں، اسے بھی شیطان سے محفوظ فرمائیے“، تو اگر ان کے مقدر میں اولاد ہوئی تو اس اولاد کو شیطان کبھی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکے گا۔“
Saina Ibne Abbas raza Allaho anhoma se marvi hai keh Rasool Allah sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne irshad farmaya: “Agar koi shakhs apni biwi ke paas mulakat ke liye aa kar yeh dua parh le: «Bismillahilla humma jannibni shaitan wa jannib shaitan ma razaqtana» “Allah ke naam se, aye Allah! mujhe bhi shaitan se mehfooz farma dijiye aur is mulakat ke natije mein aap jo aulad hamein ata farmaen, usay bhi shaitan se mehfooz farmaye”, to agar un ke muqaddar mein aulad hui to is aulad ko shaitan kabhi nuqsan nahin pohancha sake ga.”
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ إِذَا أَتَى أَهْلَهُ، قَالَ: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنِي الشَّيْطَانَ وَجَنِّبْ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا، فَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَدٌ مَا ضَرَّهُ الشَّيْطَانُ".
