ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1921
Our master Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Ramal (fast-paced walking) during Tawaf around the Kaaba to show the polytheists his strength.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ نے خانہ کعبہ کے گرد طواف کرتے ہوئے رمل اس لئے کیا تھا کہ مشرکین کو اپنی طاقت دکھا سکیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne khana kaba ke gird tawaaf karte huye ramal is liye kiya tha ke mushrikeen ko apni taqat dikha saken.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " إِنَّمَا رَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَوْلَ الْكَعْبَةِ لِيُرِيَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قُوَّتَهُ".
